Welcome to Lakeside Fish & Chips — serving proper British fish and chips beside the water since 1984. For over 40 years, we’ve kept things simple: quality fresh fish, golden crispy batter, perfectly cooked chips and friendly service. Whether you’re joining us for dine-in, takeaway or a special occasion, our aim is to serve great food in a relaxed and welcoming waterfront setting.

Our Cod and Haddock arrive fresh, alongside a selection of other fresh seafood displayed in our dedicated fish fridge. Depending on the catch and availability, you may find Plaice, whole Sea Bass, whole Sea Bream, Lemon Sole, Dover Sole, Lobster, Mussels and Clams. We’re proud to offer our customers the opportunity to see some of the fresh seafood we have available, reflecting the importance we place on quality and freshness.

Alongside our award-winning fish and chips, you’ll find daily specials, burgers, pies, desserts and options for the whole family. We also use MSC-certified seafood products as part of our approach to responsible sourcing.
